Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of mainframe applications built using COBOL, CICS, DB2 and JCL
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mainframe applications and cost basis systems along with test automation
- Review test cases and test scripts of other QA testers to ensure adherence to best practices and standards for all the work done
- Perform regression testing to make sure no new defects are introduced in the release
- Automate testing of new functionality using Automation Framework
- Work experience in QA includes Work on Test cases, XML, understanding of models and loading the data, setup the QA/UAT environments
- Experience in testing cost basis applications and conducting cost analysis to support testing activities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels
