- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building data pipelines in large-scale environments.
- Delivered data solutions for clients in the manufacturing domain.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or Java for Spark-based ETL (Apache Spark, PySpark).
- Strong SQL skills for data modeling, performance tuning, and complex queries.
- Experience with any of the Data & AI cloud platforms - AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab CI),
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills: able to engage directly with clients to drive consensus and deliver results.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL processes and data visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Certification in any data engineering platforms.
- Experience in Palantir Foundry platform
- Experience in data science methodologies and Python ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn for model development and deployment.
- Good understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.

Annual TC Budget: upto 14 Lakhs

Role Overview:
As a Forward Deployed Data Engineer, you will partner directly with our clients to design, build, and deploy end-to-end data solutions that drive critical business outcomes. You will leverage modern data-engineering best practices, and cloud platforms to architect scalable pipelines, perform advanced analytics, and ensure rapid time-to-value in complex, real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, data sources, and pain points.
Translate requirements into technical designs for data ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
Implement robust, modular ELT pipelines using Palantir Foundry Code Repositories.
-Ensure quality of data by implementing processes for data cleaning and validations
Optimize data models for performance, maintainability, and observability.
Provide technical guidance to resolve complex data challenges.
Drive end-to-end deployment: develop CI/CD workflows Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in production.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, processes, and analysis methods.
Work alongside data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to integrate machine-learning models, dashboards, and operational applications.
Mentor junior engineers and help establish best practices for version control, testing, and code reviews.
Foster a collaborative environment to promote knowledge sharing and team growth.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and introduce data-fabric patterns for real-time analytics.
Stay current with emerging data-engineering technologies and recommend strategic enhancements.
