Job Description

Location: Bangalore Hybrid Shift Timing: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM Experience: 8+ Years (Minimum 7 years in Mainframe development) Domain: Banking Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in COBOL-based development within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mainframe technologies, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt across both development and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe-based applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2. Work on complex enhancements, production support, and new development projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Provide technical analysis and solutions aligned with SDLC best practices. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Maintain accurate documentation of processes and system components. Support debugging and performance optimization of existing systems.
