Job Title: Assembly Planning Engineer (Bus Planning)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Planning Engineer to support bus manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed assembly plans, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update assembly process plans for new and modified bus models.
• Prepare and manage time studies, workload analysis (yamazumi charts), and ergonomics studies.
• Develop and update assembly process plans and work instructions for new and existing bus models.
• Perform process planning including sequence of operations, cycle time study, and takt time calculation.
• Prepare manpower mapping and workload balancing (yamazumi charts) based on project requirements and production volume.
• Plan and select necessary equipment and tool for the assembly line (jigs, fixtures, special tools, etc.).
• Perform resource planning (people, material, machines) for efficient shop floor operations.
• Lead time studies and identify areas for productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Create and manage digital documentation for process flows, layouts, and standard operating procedures. ( Support digital manufacturing activities using :-Vis mockup , Process designer)
• Analyze production data using Power BI and provide actionable insights for improvements.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Excel VBA and develop Macros in NX for faster planning work.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Advanced Excel (including VBA and Macros).
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Expertise in NX (Siemens NX) for 3D design and manufacturing planning.
• Experience in creating and interpreting drawings using AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Prior experience in bus or automotive assembly planning is an advantage.
