Job Description
- Hands-on experience with Linux and AWS Services
- Proficiency in infrastructure configuration management, deployment, and versioning tools (experience with Ansible and Terraform is a plus)
- Ability to deploy and configure infrastructure for virtual machines (VMWare), as well as pack applications into containers and deploy them (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Nginx, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform
- Experience in networking, firewall rules, and server management
- Knowledge of deployment strategies: blue-green, A-B deployment, canary
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery
- Awareness of enterprise security
- Familiarity with GCP or any cloud service provider
- Intrinsic interest and some experience with development and scripting languages like Python and Java
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
What You Will Be Doing:
- Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure environments
- Creating solution prototypes and conducting proof of concept for new tools
- Designing repeatable, automated, and scalable processes to increase efficiency and improve software quality, such as managing Infrastructure as Code and working on internal tooling that simplifies workflows
- Monitoring and maintaining both cloud and on-premises environments
- Planning and executing reliable, repeatable production rollouts
- Ensuring high availability
- Collaborating with multiple teams to gather requirements and build solutions collaboratively
- Performing ongoing maintenance and upgrades on key components of the platform
- Assessing and adopting new technologies and tools to improve efficiency
