Job Title: Digital: BigData and Hadoop Ecosystems, Spark & Scala Location: On-Site, India Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Big Data technologies. Implement Hadoop ecosystems for efficient data storage and processing. Utilize Spark for data processing tasks to enhance performance. Write reliable and efficient Scala code for various data transformation tasks. Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to gather requirements for data projects. Ensure data integrity and quality while processing data flows. Optimize existing data processing routines for better performance. Monitor and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL databases. Implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Research and apply industry best practices for data management. Engage in design discussions and architecture planning for data solutions. Develop data visualizations to effectively communicate findings. Provide mentorship and training for junior data team members. Stay current with emerging technologies in Big Data and analytics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop. Strong proficiency in Scala and Apache Spark. Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL tools. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Understanding of data modeling techniques and practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience in data streaming technologies like Kafka. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies. Knowledge of machine learning concepts is a plus. Certification in Big Data technologies is a plus.
