Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop robust and scalable backend solutions using Python and Django.
- Design and implement APIs and web services to facilitate seamless integration.
- Perform data scraping using tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications and system issues.
- Implement best practices for software development and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Python and Django.
- Proficiency in web scraping frameworks like Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with other Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Pyramid.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven frameworks like asyncio or Twisted.
- Experience in building scalable web applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
