Working Days : Monday to Friday ( Saturday & Sunday off )
About the Role
Augmentive Business Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote HR
Assistant to join our clients dynamic human resources consulting team. This role offers the
opportunity to support a diverse client base across multiple sectors, blending traditional HR
responsibilities with modern technology, document management, and research. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute
to policy and procedure development within a North American HR context.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with task tracking and project
follow-ups.
Format and prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and internal documentation.
Utilize AI tools for writing, scheduling, document preparation, and productivity
enhancement.
Conduct accurate data entry, digital filing, and document management.
Policy, Research & Strategic Support
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and process
documentation.
Apply critical thinking to support decision-making, solve problems, and improve internal
workflows.
Conduct research into HR practices, employment standards, and workforce trends in
North America.
Summarize research findings to inform internal discussions and policy direction.
HR Support Activities
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and checklists.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and databases.
Assist with employee engagement activities, training logistics, and internal HR
Provide general HR administrative support to the HR function and leadership team.
Recruitment Support (as needed)
Post job advertisements, screen resumes, and coordinate interview scheduling.
Support candidate communications and help ensure a positive applicant experience.
Track recruitment data and assist with basic reporting as requested.
Qualifications & Skills
13 years of experience in HR, administration, or office support (HR experience
preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong document formatting and presentation preparation skills.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and apply findings to practical HR challenges,
especially in the North American context.
Comfort with AI tools commonly used in HR, such as:
AI writing assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly)
AI scheduling and calendar tools
Document automation or summarization tools
Applicant tracking systems with AI features
HR analytics or survey platforms
Openness to learning: motivated to explore new technologies and continuously learn
about evolving HR practices in Canada and the U.S.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with policy or procedure development is an asset.
Able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Work from home Set up ( Mandatory )
The system should be an i3 or above processor, with 100 mbps internet speed and 4
hours of power backup. Applicants must have his own 5G phone to use.
Must be available to work standard business hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
