We are looking Role Data Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve the data architecture for the core data warehouse to support key business projects and other organizational needs.
- Lead the design of new ingestion processes for critical data sources, including core project data sources and other key business systems.
- Define and build interface views, ensuring efficient data accessibility and performance.
- Strategize and oversee the replacement of existing, inefficient data integration processes.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to decouple and integrate systems, including specific workflow engines and external data providers for consistent data.
- Provide architectural guidance for the implementation of critical reporting logic, such as financial accounting rules and historical data reconciliation processes.
- Ensure the design supports future scalability and flexibility for the broader data strategy.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to translate business requirements into robust data architecture solutions.
- Define data governance standards and ensure adherence to data quality best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lake architectures.
- Extensive experience with ETL/ELT methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with financial data concepts and reporting, particularly in the context of P&L and GAAP.
- Experience with data integration from various source systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with data integration and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, with a specific understanding of how Ataccama MDM functions in an MDM context.
- Experience with financial systems or general ledger systems, with a conceptual understanding of how data from such systems would feed into a centralized platform.
- Understanding of API integrations, particularly for consuming external data like exchange rates (e.g., from XE.com).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
