Manpower Planning & Budgeting
Effective Manpower Planning & handling redundancy with a view to enhance productivity.
Create manpower plans and budgetsin line with annual business plans. Finalizing the manpower budget in thebeginning of the financial year
Monitor adherence to plannedbudgets (Salary, T & D, Admin, etc.)
Recruitment
Managing end to end recruitmentprocess for all the requirements at the plant level
Prepare & track individualrecruiter metrics (e.g time to fill opening and cost per hire)
Implementation of JobDescription
Responsible for preparing Jobdescription for all key positions at plant level
Updating of Structures and JobDescriptions in the system as and when required
Talent Management
Implement Talent Managementprogram as per organization framework
To guide the new entrants ofTalent Pool members to create their Individual Development Plan.
To ensure MDPs of talent Poolmembers are reviewed & updated as per schedule.
Training & Development
To coordinate and deliver Training & Induction programs as per requirement of the organization.
Identify the training need forBlue Collars through gap analysis. Plan competency development program andco-ordinate with training agencies & internal trainers to impart varioustrainings.
HR Policies
To ensure effective implementationof all HR policies and procedures at Unit level.
To ensure implementation of thevalue and culture framework and adherence to policies
Performance Management System
Responsible for completion of PMSprocess at the Unit level
To work hand in gloves withmanagers for completion of Goal setting, Mid-Year Review & AnnualAppraisals as per the intent of the process.
Employee Satisfaction survey
Implement & Drive EmployeeSatisfaction survey (GPTW) /Organizational Health/ Climate surveyinitiative for all level of employees viz Management cadre, Supervisory & workmen and initiate corrective actions in coordination with departmentin-charges
Drive action planning andownership of action implementation.
Employees Engagement and Employee Relationship Building
Ensure internal communication toemployees on key HR/ ER initiatives at plant level.
Plan & Implement variousEmployees Engagement activities like Town Halls, communication meet, Skip levelmeeting, Think Tank, Open door, Family Day, cake Day (Employee BirthdayCelebration), suggestion scheme, Help Desk (Voice of Employee) solution within24 hours etc. for all level of employees.
Drive various kind of EmployeeReward & Recognition scheme especially related to blue color employees atunit level in coordination with department in-charges
Core Competencies:
Good understanding about HRMS Operation of HR Automation like SAP HR/ success factor / Darwin box etc
