Job Description
- Data Engineering : Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and MongoDB.
- AI and NLP Development -i) Develop and deploy OCR solutions for extracting text from scanned documents and images. ii) Design, train, and fine-tune NLP models for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, summarization, and sentiment analysis. iii) Utilize and customize pre-trained models from Hugging Face or other libraries for specific use cases.
- Model Development and Optimization - i) Fine-tune large language models for domain-specific tasks. ii) Implement and evaluate machine learning models, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency. iii) Perform hyper parameter tuning and optimization for AI models.
- Collaboration and Deployment i) Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into production. ii) Deploy and monitor AI models in a cloud-based or on-premises environment.
- Documentation and Best Practices i) Maintain clear and detailed documentation for data pipelines, models, and APIs. ii) Advocate for and implement best practices in data engineering and AI development.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, MongoDB, OCR, NLP, model finetuning, and experience with frameworks like Hugging Face. Will be working on building and optimizing AI solutions to process and analyze data, drive insights, and improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Python and its data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Expertise in OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, AWS Textract, or similar).
Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and fine-tuning pre-trained models.
Knowledge of ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Strong understanding of model evaluation metrics and error analysis.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Understanding of MLOps practices for productionizing and monitoring models.
Knowledge of RESTful API development for integrating AI solutions into applications.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
