We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PLM solution architecture, customization, integration with enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, MES), and stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the PLM architecture using Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Teamcenter solutions.
- Lead the technical planning, installation, configuration, and upgrade of Teamcenter environments.
- Drive architecture decisions related to data modeling, workflows, access controls, and integrations.
- Design and implement integrations with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems(e.g., SAP, NX, SolidWorks).
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, customization, and system behavior.
- Conduct technical reviews, code validations, and ensure compliance with architecture standards.
- Mentor developers and administrators and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
- Support pre-sales and proposal activities (if required) with solutioning inputs and effort estimation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, including at least 4 years in an architect role.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA)
- BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Access Manager
- Active Workspace configuration and customization
- Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP (SAP), CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks), and legacy systems.
- Proficiency in Java, ITK, SOA, and AWC Customizations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and security practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Siemens Teamcenter certification(s)
- Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) of PLM solutions
- Knowledge of Mendix or low-code platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps tools for build and deployment automation
