- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at Miko. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing processes of our robotic products. Your responsibilities will include optimizing production workflows, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.Key Responsibilities :Production Process Optimization :- Evaluate and enhance existing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline production workflows.Quality Assurance :- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistent production of high-quality robotic products.- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality standards.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :- Work closely with design and R&D teams to provide input on manufacturability and contribute to the development of new products.- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.Process Documentation :- Create and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.- Train production staff on new processes and ensure adherence to established procedures.Continuous Improvement :- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost.- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing operations.Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth manufacturing process.- Collaborate with maintenance and technical support teams to address equipment and machinery issues.Test Jig Design :- Design and develop test jigs for electronic components, PCBs, Assemblies, etc.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and specifications.- Implement automation scripts to optimize testing processes and increase efficiency.- Create comprehensive documentation for test jig designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and code documentation.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of test jig configurations and changes.- Work closely with hardware and software teams to coordinate the integration of test jigs into the overall testing infrastructure.- Collaborate with quality assurance and product development teams to understand testing requirements and improve test coverage.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field with minimum three years of work experience.- Proven experience in production engineering, preferably in the robotics or electronics industry.- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and quality control.- Proficient in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in diverse, multicultural environments.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.- Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
