SQL DBA Consultant @ Coforge

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale databases on SQL Server platforms to meet business requirements.
• Perform database administration tasks such as backups, recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
• Collaborate with development teams to design data models and develop ETL processes for data migration and integration.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues using various tools like SSMS, T-SQL commands, and third-party utilities.

Job Requirements :

• 8-16 years of experience in Database Administration (DBA) role with expertise in SQL DBA skills.
• Proficiency in managing large-scale databases on Microsoft SQL Server platforms.
• Strong understanding of database design principles including normalization and denormalization techniques.
• Experience with backup strategies, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
