SAP FICO Consultant @ Squirrel Softech

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP FICO modules to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, coupled with technical proficiency in SAP FICO module functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementing and configuring SAP FICO modules according to business requirements.

2. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and propose SAP FICO solutions.

3. Customizing and enhancing SAP FICO functionalities to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.

4. Conducting end-user training and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth operation and utilization of SAP FICO systems.

5. Performing system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure system integrity.

6. Participating in SAP FICO module upgrades, patches, and enhancements as required.

7. Providing expertise in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and other related areas within SAP FICO.

8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

9. Staying updated on SAP FICO best practices, industry trends, and new technologies to continuously improve processes and systems.

10. Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.

3. In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules.

4. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.

5. Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA, including experience with implementation, customization, and support.

6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

8. SAP FICO certification is a plus.

9. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.

10. Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or finance is preferred.
