As a Talent Intelligence and Sourcing Specialist, you will join the Global Talent Acquisition team and be responsible for identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends in complex data sets to provide talent insights that will drive talent acquisition strategies. This role involves conducting market research to understand talent pools, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Additionally, you will also be responsible for enhancing Ciena s ability to attract and engage the best talent across all geographies where Ciena operates.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct talent market research and provide insights on talent availability, skills, compensation, and hiring trends.
Work closely with the Global TA team, to deliver best in market passive candidates.
Collaborate with HRBPs, Recruiters, and business leaders to understand their needs and provide meaningful insights.
Present data-driven recommendations to Business to help shape talent acquisition strategies.
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to strategically develop custom research, target lists and sourcing strategies for current and future open opportunities.
Take ownership of proactive project pipelines against personas, competitor mapping & campaigns.
Partner with recruitment marketing for nurture and competitor campaigns.
Utilize of social media as a candidate generation tool.
Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Develop and maintain talent intelligence dashboards and regular reports.
The Must Haves:
bachelors degree in marketing, HR, or a related field with Proven working experience as a data analyst, research analyst, or in a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to conduct thorough research using various tools and methods.
Proficiency in ATS, CRM and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in complex Boolean and Deep Web searching techniques is preferred but not required.
