Job Description
- We are looking for a software developer to join us as BackendEngineer and be part of the team developing the Product backend. This roleis key to our organisations success as both a market force and a provider ofcutting edge end-user experiences. You will be directly working on building thesoftware behind the platform that will power the Indian hyperscale cloudecosystem.
- In this role, youll be working alongside a young team whowill collaborate with you and foster a culture of mutual learning.
JobResponsibilities:
- Developing the application backend using a Javascript-basedstack of frameworks, databases, message queues, middleware and API gateways.
- Optimising the application backend for security, efficiency,performance and a delightful user experience.
- Engineering the application in a way thats secure andtamper-proof.
- Collaborating with the UX, Product and backend Engineeringteams to deliver a robust Product experience.
- Helping frontend engineers and support operations withtroubleshooting.
- Building an API-first software development practice andProduct.
- Following strict documentation practices around all work doneand delivered.
- Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Good toHave Skill:
- Needless to say, this role is a combination of provenexperience and the ability to think spontaneously. Well be evaluating yourcandidature on the following criteria:
- 5+ years of experience of working as a software backenddeveloper/engineer.
- Strong knowledge of web frontend development technologiesincluding Javascript-based frameworks, Node.js, Express.js, Mysql, APIgateways, MongoDB, Redis, Rabbit MQ, Kafka etc.
- Solid foundation of technically implementing solutions,backend architectures and following SDLC practices.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and developmentusing Kubernetes.
- Prior experience and/or aptitude towards open-sourcetechnologies and on-premise software deployments.
- Strong technical knowledge and a core skill set consisting ofJavascript-based software development frameworks, tools, libraries andmethodologies.
- DevOps-centric mindset with agility and collaboration at core.
- Up to date knowledge on industry trends and best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills with clear verbal and writtenarticulation.
Qualificationand Experience:
- 5 plus years ofexperience.
- B.E,B.Tech, M.Tech,BSC,MSC
