Job Description
- SAP Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans for SAP implementation, upgrades, or enhancements, considering project scope, timelines, resources, and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to define project objectives, requirements, and priorities.
- Resource Allocation : Allocate resources effectively to support SAP project activities, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and other team members.
- Project Monitoring and Control : Implement robust project monitoring mechanisms to track progress, identify risks and issues, and take proactive measures to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Quality Assurance : Define and enforce quality standards and best practices for SAP project implementation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Change Management : Facilitate change management processes to manage stakeholder expectations, mitigate resistance, and drive user adoption of SAP solutions.
- Vendor Management : Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to leverage their expertise, manage deliverables, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Performance Reporting : Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key project metrics, milestones, and risks.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within the PMO framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Development : Mentor and coach project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the PMO.
Requirements:
- Education : Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP projects, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- SAP Expertise : In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP CRM, etc., along with hands-on experience in SAP implementation, customization, and integration.
- Project Management Skills : Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Leadership Abilities : Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional project teams, driving consensus, and achieving project objectives in a matrix organization.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive project success.
- Change Management : Experience in change management methodologies and techniques to facilitate organizational change and adoption of new SAP solutions.
- Vendor Management : Previous experience in managing relationships with SAP implementation partners, system integrators, and other third-party vendors.
- Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
