Senior Software Engineer - C / C++ / Python Programming @ Cisco

As an integral member of this forward-looking group responsible for Cisco's IOS-XR operating system, you will collaborate with engineers who architect, design, and develop some of the worlds largest Service Provider and Web products, that are constantly evolving to meet customer business requirements. In your role as a Software Engineer, you will develop products that are deployed by some of the leading service providers in the world. Who You Are:

You have experience working on Linux. You possess the ability to understand system-level architecture and design. Besides these, you have sufficient knowledge of product development life-cycle and tools. Your good written and verbal communication skills have always stood you in good stead.

• Experience: 5 years to 9 years.
• Bachelors degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent.
• Expert knowledge and strong experience in C/C++/Python
• Sound knowledge of operating system concepts and system programming on UNIX based systems
• Network and multithreaded programming

• Exposure to L2/L3 protocols
• Knowledge of Virtualization/distributed systems/Docker
• Understanding to python programming is good to have
• Exposure to Netconf/Yang, GRPC, REST APIs is a plus
