Job Description

Role Overview


We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Closer to join our home automation team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for technology, proven high-ticket sales experience, and the ability to effectively close deals. In addition to converting leads, the Sales Closer will also identify and execute cross-selling opportunities to maximize customer value and revenue.


  • Lead Conversion & Closing:
  • Engage with inbound and outbound leads, nurturing them through the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person consultations, showcasing the benefits of our home automation solutions.
  • Overcome objections and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Cross-Selling & Upselling:

Identify opportunities to introduce additional products, services, and accessories that complement the customers initial purchase.

  • Educate customers on the benefits of integrated solutions, including security enhancements, energy management, and smart integrations.

Leverage customer interactions to recommend bundled offerings that enhance overall system performance and customer satisfaction.


Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor personalized smart home solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, and developers.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure ongoing satisfaction and generate referrals.

Product Knowledge & Demonstration:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in home automation.

Conduct detailed product demonstrations to explain how our systems integrate security, lighting, HVAC, and other smart devices.

  • Clearly communicate technical information in a way that is accessible to all customers.

Sales Strategy & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective closing and cross-selling strategies.

Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate records using CRM software and other digital sales tools.

Preferred but Not Mandatory:

Experience in selling to homeowners, real estate developers, or interior designers.

Understanding of home automation installation and cross-system integrations.
