Senior Plc Engineer @ Light Mechanics

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• PLC Platforms: Experience in programming and configuring leading industrial PLC brands (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley)
• PLC Languages: Proficient in IEC-standard PLC programming languages for flexible automation (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block).
• HMI Design: Skilled in designing operator-friendly HMI interfaces for process control.
• VFD & Servo Drives: Able to integrate and tune drives for precise motion and speed control.
• Communication Protocols: Knowledge of industrial communication for device interoperability (Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, RS485, RS232, Profinet).
• SCADA Systems: Good to have exposure to SCADA platforms for monitoring, data logging, and alarms.
• Robot Teaching: Good to have basic knowledge of robotic programming and path teaching.
• Laser Instruments & Vision Systems: Good to have familiarity with laser measurement and vision systems for inspection and alignment.
• PLC Panel Wiring Understanding: Good to have basic understanding of control panel layouts and wiring for troubleshooting.
