Construction Engineer- Water Supply @ IPE Global

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist the RE in planning, scheduling, monitoring, supervision, contract management, progress reporting, documentation of assigned projects.
• Responsible for daily site supervision, QA/QC, maintenance of site registers and records, identification and flagging of issues, etc.
• Supervise the construction activity appropriately, implementation of work as per design.
• Responsible for works measurement/ verification and assisting in checking of contractors bills.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements at assigned work sites.
• Assist in planning and coordinate construction activities with works contractor daily.
• Analyze construction related issues on the field and suggest solutions.
• Attend project review meetings and assist in resolving issues when required.
• Photographic record of progress of works over the previous reporting period.
• Any other project related task assigned by the Resident Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications & Work Experience Required:

• Graduate in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (B. Tech or B.E. degree) with 5 years overall work experience; OR a Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with 7 years overall work experience is required.
• Atleast 2 years of relevant construction supervision experience of water supply, used water, drainage infrastructure projects.
