Job Description
Role : SAP Project Manager
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced SAP Project Manager to lead complex, multi-country SAP Business One (B1) to SAP ECC migration projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of SAP landscapes, strong project management capabilities, and a track record of successful SAP migrations in global, multi-entity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of SAP B1 to ECC migration programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors across geographies.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, migration strategies, risk registers, and communication matrices.
- Coordinate data mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover activities in collaboration with functional and technical leads.
- Ensure effective integration of core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, etc.) and manage dependencies across countries/entities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for global and regional stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Enforce project governance, change control, and quality assurance processes.
- Lead testing, training, and post-migration support planning to ensure successful go-lives and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Project Management, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP B1 to ECC migrations.
- Strong understanding of both SAP Business One and ECC architectures, data models, and business processes.
- Proven ability to manage large, multi-country SAP transformation projects.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate or equivalent project management certification.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management, project governance, and reporting at global and regional levels.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies (e.g., LSMW, BAPIs, custom tools).
- Experience in cross-cultural team leadership and remote project delivery.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business language.
