Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs; work with JSON/XML formats and HTTP protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to GitHub repositories, and ensure clean, maintainable code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application stability.
- Work in an agile development environment using tools like Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Deploy and manage services on AWS using EC2 Lambda, S3 etc.
- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and design principles.
- Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2/JWT, and service discovery tools.
- Hands-on with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Exposure to AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
