PHP Laravel Developer @ Kapil Consultancy

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when necessary.
• Ensure application security, data protection, and performance.
• Stay up to date with new technologies, trends, and best practices in web development.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience in PHP development with strong knowledge of Laravel (at least version 8+ preferred).
• Proficient in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React is a plus.
• Familiarity with Composer, Artisan, Eloquent ORM, and Blade templating engine.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
