Kafka Testing @ CGI

Job Description

• Strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
• Strong hands-on required on Oracle and Mongo DB - able to write queries based on mapping logic
• Must have Message testing experience (JSON, Avro, Kafka, etc).
• Strong in Kafka client configuration and troubleshooting Kafka issues
• Experience in continuous integration and automated testing.
• Able to verify the integrity of data flowing through Kafka, including data serialization/deserialization, and data validation. 
• Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to verify Kafka functionality, including data production, consumption, and message processing.  
• Working knowledge and experience of Postman, Git.
• Agile ceremonies, X-ray, and Jira/Confluence experience.
