Job Description
Position: Mid-Level Software Developer
Location: Gurugram Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
About the Role
Were looking for a driven Mid-Level Software Developer with 45 years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. Youll build, test, and maintain scalable web applications and services alongside product, UX/UI, and QA teammates. If youre a collaborative problem-solver who picks up new technologies quickly, youll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development & Maintenance
- Implement and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue).
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following team standards and best practices.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain unit tests (xUnit, NUnit, Jest) to ensure code reliability.
- Build end-to-end tests (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) to validate critical user flows.
- Collaborate with QA to reproduce, triage, and resolve defects.
- Cloud & DevOps Support
- Assist in deploying and monitoring applications on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab.
- Work with infrastructure-as-code configurations (Terraform, ARM templates) under guidance.
- Team Collaboration
- Participate in Agile ceremoniesstandups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Conduct and receive constructive code reviews.
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and estimate tasks.
- Continuous Learning
- Stay up to date with emerging frameworks, libraries, and industry trends.
- Share insights and learnings through documentation, lunch-and-learn sessions, or informal tech talks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience Level
- 4-5 years of professional software development experience.
1).NET Core Proficiency
- Solid experience building RESTful APIs and web applications with .NET Core and C#.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API and Entity Framework Core
2)JavaScript & Frameworks
- Strong grasp of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with one popular framework/library (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
3) Testing
- Proven ability to write and maintain unit tests (xUnit, NUnit, Jest).
- Experience creating end-to-end tests using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
4)Cloud Fundamentals
- Exposure to at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic understanding of containers (Docker)
5) Development Practices
- Comfortable with Git workflows (feature branches, pull requests).
- Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools.
Preferred & Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with micro-services or container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Awareness of performance optimisation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
