Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Testing Engineer with 57 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test solutions, with a solid understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, and PyTest.
- Build reusable test libraries and utilities to support scalable test automation across different projects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand application workflows and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Perform integration testing across APIs and services to validate end-to-end system behavior.
- Conduct comprehensive database validations using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects.
- Document test strategies, test cases, and test results in a clear and organized manner.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices within the team.
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in software testing.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Robot Framework, PyTest.
- Strong expertise in database validation and writing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with integration testing across microservices or APIs.
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python or Java.
- Solid grasp of software testing methodologies, test design, and test execution.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
