Redington is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to manage a state-of-the art and rapidly
growing cloud architecture. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in maintaining related cloud systems (AWS/Azure/GCP), developing processes for governance, and ensuring the security of compute resources and data.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud computing concepts and how they apply in an enterprise environment. The candidate must be able to see the big picture necessary to create solutions, but also be able to execute the technical steps required to deploy those solution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaptation process. Regularly
evaluate cloud applications, processes, and software. Experience provisioning
AWS/Azure/GCP resources.
2. Integration of applications, APIs developed on CLOUD infrastructure. Basic knowledge of
AWS/AZURE/GCP service is a must.
3. Hands-on experience in building data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and aggregation of
data. Experience working on Containers (Amazon EKS), HELM, Serverless computing services
and Microservices Architecture
4. Hands-on experience on AWS Lambda and AWS Cloud Formation. Hands-on experience on
Data bricks, Data factory, ML Flow. Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
5. Should have hands on experience on Automation skills. Infra deployment tool (Python,
Terraform, CF). General knowledge of traditional network, firewalls and load balancers.
6. Proven knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP platform and tools. Knowledge on Amazon Sage
maker for creating, training, and deploying machine-learning (ML) models in the cloud is an
add on.
7. Knowledge on Jenkins, Devops technologies is add on. Understand short and long-term
goals and objectives and recommend technical solutions and services.
8. Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Work closely with
customers to implement and/or consult requested solutions.
Educational Qualification / Experience Desired:
1. Engineering graduate in CS/IT / EEE / ECE (or) Postgraduate in Computer Science. Experience
of around 2to5 years in IT domain with relevant experience of 2+ years as a cloud engineer.
2. Good knowledge of cloud technology & eco system (for example, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS). Basic
cloud certification is preferred (for example, AWS, Azure, GCP). Good problem-solving skills,
communication skills and customer orientation.
3. Understand complex cloud infrastructure designs and potential cost optimization
parameters.
4. Demonstrated scripting ability. Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, JSON, Python, Terraform
and other scripting tools is strongly recommended.
5. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud
reports to management and other IT development partners.
6. Able to communicate in English Language (listening, writing, speaking). Certification in AWS
architecture desirable
