Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong background in AI, analytics, web and mobile application development, data management, application log management, and AWS application security. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective, while enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights from user and application data.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Architect and deliver scalable, secure AWS solutions for web and mobile applications, integrating advanced analytics and AI capabilities.
2. Design and implement serverless and containerized architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services.
3. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for reliable, repeatable deployments.
4. Lead API development and management using Amazon API Gateway, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable interfaces for applications and integrations.
5. Oversee data management and application log management strategies to support analytics, compliance, and monitoring needs.
6. Implement and enforce AWS application security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secure API design.
7. Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-native solutions into web and mobile applications, supporting both backend and frontend requirements.
8. Work with AI/ML teams to deploy and manage machine learning models and data pipelines in AWS environments.
9. Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and cost.
10. Document architectural designs, standards, and implementation guidelines.
11. Mentor team members on AWS best practices and cloud-native development.
Skills Required
1. Proven expertise in AWS serverless stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3).
2. Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
3. Strong experience in API development and management using API Gateway.
4. Full-stack development experience with web/mobile apps integrated with AWS services.
5. Experience building LLM models, and working with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
6. Proficient with AWS data analytics tools (Athena, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, QuickSight).
7. Skilled in data and log management for analytics and monitoring.
8. Deep understanding of AWS security (IAM, encryption, compliance).
9. Familiar with AI/ML workflows and analytics on AWS.
10. Proficient in Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
Good to have Technical Skills
1. Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation and cloud resource management.
2. Exposure to AWS IoT Core.
3. AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
4. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
5. Experience with data visualization and BI tools.
Soft Skills
1. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
2. An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
