Exploring the role
The Associate - Information Security will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and improving the security infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop a strong foundation in cybersecurity while contributing to the organization's security efforts.
How your day will look like/Job responsibility
- Monitor security alerts and assist in incident response activities.
- Perform routine security checks, log analysis, and vulnerability scans.
- Assist in managing security tools such as antivirus, firewalls, and SIEM.
- Help enforce security policies and best practices.
- Support security awareness training initiatives.
- Research emerging threats and provide recommendations for security improvements.

Education Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of security tools and technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and related systems.
- Understanding of security concepts including malware analysis, phishing, and network security principles.
- Awareness of security policies and best practices to ensure a secure organizational environment.
- Familiarity with incident response procedures and maintaining security documentation.
- Basic understanding of vulnerability management and threat monitoring.
Skills
- Proficient in performing routine security checks, analyzing logs, and conducting vulnerability scans.
