Majesco is seeking a Lead Engineer, Support, with optional knowledge of P&C Insurance domain for North American P&C product line .
All about the Role:
The ICD/ICM and Java developer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Majesco Insurance products. As a developer, you will be working extensively on the P&C Insurance platform catering to a wide customer base in the US market.
This position will directly work with technical teams to implement / Support Majesco products for our clients in various sizes and Tiers. Responsible for quality delivery of the assigned work which will be part of major deliveries from Majesco to our customers and may involved following activities -
- Development of a code / module based on the specifications given.
- Design, Develops, enhances, debugs and implements software.
- Address problems of system integration
- Configuration, script changes where required
- Participates in development of software user manuals
- Interacting with the internal stakeholders (Interface Analyst, BAs, Architect), client and team members
- Help in developing POC when required.
- Implement integration between product and other external systems Design, Develop, enhance, debug and implement external interfaces and batches
- Development of stubs for internal testing
- Do performance test of the new interfaces
- Develop technical and user documentation as needed.
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent technology (Java - Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE and ICD/ICM) and hands on development skills.
- Awareness of Spring Batch, interface implementation using Camel, SOAP etc.
- Knowledge of HTML 5 and Rest API development would help.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration, automation testing
- Good understanding of the breadth of technology, open source
- Good expertise of design patterns and usage
- Experience in UML based analysis and design using tools
- Experience in Agile methodology!

Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science; Master s degree a plus
- Experience with SAFe Agile Development practices and processes. SAFe Practitioner certification preferred.
- Experience with the Majesco Platforms/Products is a plus.
- Preferred Experience in developing and supporting of Insurance services products.
- Insurance certification is a plus.
