We are looking for skilled PeopleSoft Developer with at least 5 years of experience in development for PeopleSoft Financials applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PeopleSoft development and implementation, with a proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior developers. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications to meet business needs, ensuring data integrity and security, and optimizing application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in full life-cycle development activities, including enhancements, customizations, and interfaces for PeopleSoft applications and modules.
Customize and configure PeopleSoft applications to meet business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Mentor and guide junior developers.
Lead the design and implementation of complex PeopleSoft customizations and integrations.
Develop and execute data conversion strategies for bringing data into PeopleSoft from various sources.
Create and maintain project artifacts such as technical designs, unit test scripts, and root cause analysis for defects.
Document technical specifications and design workflows Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of applications.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications.
Ensure adherence to documentation standards and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities.
Optimize application performance through tuning and efficient coding practices.
Stay updated with the latest PeopleSoft Financials features and best practices to recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials architecture and modules.
Proficiency in SQL and PeopleSoft Query.
Experience working with PeopleTools, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, App Packages, BI Publisher and PeopleCode.
Ability to generate, retrieve, and analyze trace files required to troubleshoot and fix application issues.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related preferred.
5+ Years relevant experience.
