Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in U.S. payroll processing. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and multi-state tax laws, and handling complex transactions like bonuses, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions. Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or Oracle HCM, and strong Excel and reporting skills are essential. The candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and be able to work in the EST time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Oversee payroll systems, upgrades, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams for accurate payroll reporting.
- Handle complex transactions, including garnishments, bonuses, benefits, and 401(k) contributions.
- Administer wage garnishments, tax levies, and other deductions.
- Stay current on payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in US payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Ability to work in USA Time zone, EST
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, Ceridian, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
