Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory source objects (tables, CDS views, BW InfoProviders) and map them to Datasphere Spaces, following SAPs recommended migration blueprint.
• Deploy and harden SDI/Data-Provisioning Agents; configure secure RFC, InA, and ODP connections.
• Build log-based and scheduled Replication Flows, including initial loads and delta processing.
• Script transport automation with dwc-cli or equivalent and integrate with GitHub Actions / SAP CTMS for Dev Test Prod moves.
• Execute reconciliation (row-count, checksum) and performance baselines; lead dress-rehearsal cut-over.
• Provide knowledge-transfer workshops to customer Basis and Analytics teams.
• Experience in setting up connection and create replication flows to non SAP systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in SAP data migration or Basis roles, including at least one BW-on-HANA or BW/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on delivery of SAP Datasphere projects (Replication Flows, Spaces, SDI/SDQ adapters).
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA SLT, ODP, and CDS-view extraction mechanics.
• Proficiency with Git-based DevOps, YAML pipelines, and SAP Cloud Transport Management.
• Strong SQL Script and performance-tuning capability on HANA 2.0.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to Google Cloud BigQuery or other hyperscaler data warehouses.
• SAP certification (e.g., C_DS_43 SAP Datasphere Data Warehouse).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and running agile ceremonies.
