QA Lead @ Ingenuity Gaming

• Work closely with game developers, product managers, and designers to understand game requirements and specifications.
  
• Participate in design and development discussions to provide QA perspectives on game logic, user interface, and usability.
  
• Develop game understanding based on provided documentation game detail document or game rules/help.
  
• Understand game functionalities and flow to determine the sensitive areas for defects
  
• Perform thorough functional testing of game features, including game mechanics, bonus rounds, payouts, win/loss logic, and in-game animations across web and casino apps on mobile.
  
• Validate game rules and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  
• Ensure all game assets (e.g., graphics, sounds, animations) load and behave as expected across devices and platforms.
  
• Ensure the games function seamlessly across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices (desktop, mobile).
  
• Conduct performance testing to assess load times, response times, and overall game performance under various network conditions.
  
• Verify that games meet all applicable regulatory standards for fair play and randomness, including certification requirements (e.g., RNG testing, payout percentage verification).
  
• Liaise with compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and resolve any compliance-related issues.
  
• Identify, document, and track defects or issues using a bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) or a document maintained manually (spreadsheets).
  
• Collaborate with developers and game designers to communicate findings, troubleshoot, and ensure timely resolution of bugs.
  
• Articulate well to convey the intended details when reporting a bug/defect.
  
• For see testing requirements on a game and plan accordingly to target environments in scope
  
• Switch between environments/casino apps in case of downtime on a certain env/app
  
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices for testing casino games and training them in relevant tools and techniques.
  
• Lead test cycles for major game releases, coordinating testing efforts across QA team members to ensure timely delivery.
  
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  
• Use test automation tools and frameworks (such as Selenium, Appium, or game-specific frameworks) to execute tests across different platforms and environments.
  
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for casino games, ensuring they cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
  
• Define testing scope, objectives, resources, and timeline, tailoring approaches for different types of games (slots, keno, table games).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on online gaming or casino games.
  
• Strong background in testing casino games, particularly table, slots, and keno games.
  
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or gaming-specific automation tools).
  
• Proficient in test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  
• Familiarity with scripting or coding (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the gaming industry (RNG certification, compliance standards).
  
• Experience with bug-tracking tools and Agile development processes.
  
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and document test results.
  
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
