We embraceall candidatesthatwillcontribute to the diversification and enrichment of ideas andperspectives atAHEAD.The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day handling of escalations related to incidents, projects or requests of our managed services customer's environments.Our Senior Network Engineers are a valued member of the Managed Services Infrastructure Practice Network and Voice Services team responsible for providing subject matter expertise incident management, service request management, and change management infrastructure support for all Managed Services customers.
Responsibilities: Manage and maintain customer Network infrastructureCommunicate, internally and externally, the status of the incident ticket/service request directly with the customer or broadcast to a larger audience as defined per SLA.Possess the ability to track time worked with a degree of accuracyPerform baseline network administration including, but not limited to MACDs related to firewall, routing, switching, IPSEC, VPCs, SD-WAN, Load Balancer, Authentication servers (ISE TACACS+, SAML) solutionsMust possess a working knowledge of APIC / ACILead technical troubleshooting of critical network outages.Perform baseline administration of Amazon Web Services VPCs, CIDR management similar Microsoft Azure Technologies, GPCPerform incident management on wide variety of issues impacting Network infrastructure or that are result of failure in its operationPerforms adds, moves, and changes on Network infrastructure within expected SLAsExecute Network routine and emergency infrastructure maintenance processes as required by customerPerform troubleshooting with carriers and vendors regarding network hardware and circuit issues, order and coordinate RMA of devices remotelyActively contribute to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of the managed Network and Collaboration infrastructureBuild and maintain documentation for customer Network infrastructurePerform periodic review of customer Network infrastructure, completing documentation and implementation of continuous improvement opportunitiesProvide support and cross-training to team members on managed solutions to ensure resilient support modelManage service requests ensuring adherence to SLAsAssist with cross training of other Tier 2 team members as neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications: 12+ years of experience with operational administration of Network Infrastructure9+ years working with monitoring platforms; LogicMonitor a plus6+ years of experience with operational administration of Cisco Infrastructure6+ years of experience with operational administration of Palo Alto Infrastructure4+ years of experience with operational administration of NetScaler InfrastructureExperience with GlobalProtect, AnyConnect, FortiClientAdvanced experience with Cisco ISE, BGP/EIGRP/OSPF, FMC + FTD/ASABackground with enterprise Routing and Switching technologiesKnowledge and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocolsExperience with more than two enterprise LAN, SD-WAN and WAN topologiesStrong background with operational administration of Network Management Systems and IPAMExcellent leadership and mentoring skillsHigh level problem-solving and communication skillsStrong oral and written communications skillsBachelors Degree or Equivalent ExperienceCCIE R&S or Security, PCNSE or equivalent level certification desired.Why AHEAD:Through our daily work and internal groups like Moving Women AHEAD and RISE AHEAD, we value and benefit from diversity of people, ideas, experience, and everything in between.We fuel growth by stacking our office with top-notch technologies in a multi-million-dollar lab, by encouraging cross department training and development, sponsoring certifications and credentials for continued learning.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidates relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
