Technology | ServiceNow Certified System Architect (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications and ITIL Certified | Mandatory The ServiceNow Architect is a strategic role responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, best practices, and technical expertise to create scalable and efficient solutions that align with business needs and ITSM goals.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into comprehensive ServiceNow solutions.
Design and architect end-to-end solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform while aligning with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Create technical designs, workflows, integrations, and customizations to meet complex business requirements.
Platform Customization and Configuration:
Lead the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Service Portal.
Develop and implement custom applications, modules, UI policies, scripts, and integrations to extend platform functionality.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, administrators, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines for ServiceNow development.
Integration and Automation:
Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, both internal and external, using REST APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
Develop automation solutions to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience.
Performance Optimization and Scalability:
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability improvements within the ServiceNow platform.
Conduct thorough performance testing, troubleshooting, and tuning to ensure optimal platform responsiveness and reliability.
Governance and Security:
Establish and enforce governance practices for ServiceNow configuration, development, and deployment.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure the security and compliance of ServiceNow solutions.
Documentation and Training:
Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and deployment guides.
Provide training and mentorship to development teams, administrators, and stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices and advanced techniques.
Emerging Technologies and Innovation:
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging ServiceNow features to drive innovation and propose new solutions that enhance business processes.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, AngularJS, REST API, SOAP, and integration techniques.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
