Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements documents.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios for various platforms (web, mobile, desktop, etc.).
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, system, sanity, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback on software readiness to the team.
• Maintain and update test documentation and contribute to process improvements.
• Responsible to report about their tasks on daily basis.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-6 years proven experience in manual software testing.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with different types of testing and methodologies (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, etc.).
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to write clear test cases and defect reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Define and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test data
• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing to uncover edge-case and usability defects
• Prioritize and triage defects; validate fixes and manage re-testing cycles
• Contribute to continuous improvement
• Meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Self-driven, proactive mindset with a passion for quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
