Position: ServiceNow QA Engineer
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Pune / Indore, India
Employment Type: Full-Time
**What Youll Do**
Execute end-to-end manual and automation testing efforts across ServiceNow modules.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for ITSM, CMDB, and custom scoped applications.
Collaborate with Dev, Test, and Business Analyst teams to ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
Participate in requirement gathering and feasibility analysis to plan quality assurance activities.
Design and execute functional, regression, unit, smoke, and sanity test cases across ServiceNow implementations.
Support ServiceNow upgrades by planning and executing regression and automation test cases.
Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test results.
Assist in writing user guides and knowledge artifacts to aid end-user adoption and team learning.
Contribute to Agile/Scrum testing workflows, including sprint-level QA deliverables and defect tracking.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in the IT industry with a strong focus on manual and automation testing.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow Testing with specialization in ATF scripting.
Hands-on experience with ITSM, CMDB, and custom scoped applications.
Proficiency in test strategy planning, script automation, and ServiceNow upgrade validation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team structures.
Strong analytical skills to support defect triage and root cause analysis.
Good to Have
Experience working on both client-facing and internal implementation/enhancement projects.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
Ability to lead small QA teams or independently handle project QA efforts.
Knowledge of test automation tools beyond ATF is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred)
ServiceNow CSA Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow ATF Micro-Certification
ServiceNow Agile and Test Management Implementation Micro-Certification
