Software Developer - Onnx Implementation & Optimization In Aix @ Computer Task Group

Job Description

ONNX implementation and optimization in AIX:

Strong application developer with deep knowledge of compiler behavior when implementing numerically intensive AI algorithms.

The job will require an understanding of analyzing performance and data handling issues such as efficient handling of endianness formats to achieve the best possible performance. This is to be accomplished through the use of new algorithms, exploiting processor features through adoption of advanced compiler optimization features, and broad awareness of how to implement the algorithm to deliver performance gain.

Development programmer with strong c programming (xlC and OpenXL) and software build skills:

• Strong development skills to support migration of Oracles Database to AIX and Instant Client to AIX and Linux on the Power platform.
• Understand and optimize C and C++ language-based software.
• Strong understanding of C/C++ language standards.
• Optimize Oracle DB, and Instant Clients, for excellent performance and stability.
• Ability to evaluate alternate compilation options and determine benefits.
• Strong background to triage issues and track back to the C/C++ source.
• Build generic test cases from proprietary source code that IBM can utilize to fix defects, and proactively improve performance.
• Understanding of automated build processes used in assembling large software products. Ability to learn how to drive complex customized build process.
• Scripting, NFS mounts, access control requirements.
• Understanding of Linux and AIX and how it is implemented on Power architecture.
• Experience with AIX very desirable and willingness to go deeper required.
