Job Description

Job Title: Cluster Business Head - Emerging Markets (MSME/LAP/Secured BL)

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting To: Regional Sales Head


Responsibilities Includes:

  • Responsible for establishing the brand by overseeing the sales team and business development activities for secured LAP/BL affluent segment for all the branches in purview.
  • Prepare branch wise implementation plan to achieve defined targets in alignment with the geography
  • Ensure achievement for overall sales and cross sell targets for the cluster through building and development of internal team of BDEs and DSTs and channel partners, while ensuring maintenance of required standards for customer satisfaction, profitability metrics and product mix
  • Devise strategies/means to continually improve product Disbursements in Mass Affluent and affordable segments for all branches in the cluster and guide the teams in operationalizing the same through DSTs and Channel partners.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information to plan and undertake measures for expansion of the business within the geographic limit of the area as budgeted and act as the feedback loop from branch to region.
  • Conduct regular visits to the locations to nurture the relationships established by the internal team and channel partners and collaborate with alliance partners and distributors to grow the market presence.
  • Ensure implementation of SOPs and best practices across all branches mapped to the cluster and guide Branch Managers how to best achieve business targets and manage productivity.
  • Monitor annual budgeted expenses and manage resources within budgetary guidelines according to the company policy.
  • Minimize audit deviations by ensuring compliance to all policies and processes for the cluster
  • Track and analyze reports and MIS, review and implement performance sheets and provide feedback to Branch Managers for course correction.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 8-10 years of experience in a mid-sized Banking or NBFC firm
  • Experience of recruiting and training of sales team and channel partners
  • Experience of managing multiple branches with deep knowledge and understanding of the local market
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations as issued by NHB, RBI etc.
