Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automated testing performance testing and a strong background in Agile environments.
- This is a hybrid position based in Chennai and the selected candidate will be on our company payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts in both manual and automated testing for complex software platforms.
- Design develop and execute test strategies and test plans.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Conduct performance testing and optimize application response using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Manage and track defects using bug tracking systems such as Jira.
- Collaborate closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders in Agile teams.
- Integrate testing processes with CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery.
- Mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Skills & Attributes:
Must-Have Skills:
- 8--10 years of experience in Software Testing & QA.
- Minimum 3 years in a QA Lead or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies QA processes and tools.
- Experience testing complex platforms or enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools especially Selenium.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline integration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong team player with leadership qualities.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
