Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil and interior works for a prestigious hotel construction project.


Job Summary: The Manager - Civil and Interiors will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the civil and interior works of the hotel construction project. This includes ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Execution
    • Review design intent and ensure that interior works are aligned with the approved layouts and materials.
    • Prepare execution plans for all interior and finishing activities including timelines, resource planning, and sequencing.
    • Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and mock-ups.
  2. Site Supervision & Quality Control
    • Monitor day-to-day site activities related to interiors and finishes (flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, joinery, FF&E installations, etc.).
    • Ensure execution is as per approved samples, specifications, and brand standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and snag lists, ensuring timely closure of defects and punch points.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

    • Supervise interior contractors, carpenters, painters, polishers, and other finishing vendors.
    • Validate and certify work progress and contractor bills.
    • Ensure adherence to safety and compliance requirements on site.
  1. Team Coordination:
    • Interface with consultants (architects, interior designers, MEP, lighting, acoustics) to resolve site-related issues.
    • Coordinate with internal project teams, procurement, and design for seamless project delivery.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and mitigation measures.

5. Budget & Cost Control

    • Monitor cost adherence for all interior and finishing works.
    • Provide inputs on value engineering without compromising on quality or aesthetics.
    • Certify contractor and vendor bills for payment processing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; specialization or certification in Interior Design is a plus.
  • Experience: 6-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in high-end hotel or luxury real estate projects.
  • Strong exposure to hotel brand standards, BOQ & drawings interpretation, and interior execution.
  • Proven track record of managing finishing works in multi-million-dollar hotel or hospitality projects.
