Job Description
- Design & Development:
- Perform full lifecycle product development, from conceptualization and design to manufacturing and implementation.
- Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, developing and testing specifications and methods.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA) to create detailed models and simulations.
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
- Analysis & Testing:
- Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying engineering principles.
- Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data, and interpret results to validate theoretical designs and optimize performance.
- Perform engineering analysis (e.g., Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)) to predict performance and identify potential issues.
- Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedies.
- Develop and test prototypes of devices, analyzing test results and modifying designs as needed.
