Associate Test Manager/Test Lead @ Congruent Solutions

Job Description

Job Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
• Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in programming languages like C#, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Test Plans) and version control systems like Git.
• Experience in test data management and environment setup for automated tests.
• Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the test automation strategy, design, and implementation for complex projects.
• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Define and implement best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality test scripts.
• Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing as required.
• Oversee the preparation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
