Service Engineer @ Pranava Tech Solutions

Job Description

We are looking for Service Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to work hands-on with cutting-edge Audio-Visual systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV equipment at various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV systems: projectors, speakers, amplifiers, displays, automation and control units (Crestron, Extron, etc.).
• Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and service visits.
• Perform site surveys, testing, and commissioning.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and AV schematics.
• Train clients on using the installed systems effectively.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Travel to client locations as required and support emergency service calls.

Required Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related technical field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in AV or electronics servicing.
• Good understanding of cabling, connectors, wiring standards, and AV tools.
• Basic IP/networking knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across service calls.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

• Experience with automation/control systems (Crestron, AMX, RTI).
• Knowledge of AV over IP setups or enterprise-level display systems.
