Role & responsibilities A scrub nurse in a cardiac operation theatre is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and assisting the surgeon during cardiac surgery procedures. They prepare the operating room, manage instruments and supplies, and monitor the patient's vital signs, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.
