Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled SDET (Python) to join our team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for automating the testing of complex software applications and ensuring the quality of the product through a mix of manual and automation testing. You will utilize your expertise in Python programming to develop robust automated test scripts, perform testing across various layers of the application, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python for software applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality code.
- Design and implement testing frameworks and processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on web and mobile applications.
- Identify, report, and track bugs, performance issues, and other defects.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and improve software quality.
- Monitor test execution and provide detailed reports on test results and coverage.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in testing and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance the overall quality of the application.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Expertise in Python for automation scripting and test development.
- In-depth knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a similar role with an emphasis on automation testing.
