Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and relational databases, with hands-on experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and managing large datasets. Experience with DB2 and Python scripting will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design , develop, and maintain efficient database solutions to support business applications and analytics.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of slow-performing queries.
- Optimize database structures, indexing strategies, and schema design for better performance and scalability.
- Monitor database health, perform regular maintenance, and resolve any database-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, data engineers, and business analysts.
- Develop automation scripts using Python for database maintenance and reporting tasks (if applicable).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
Required Skills and Qualification
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in database development.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Oracle/PL SQL or other relational databases.
- Proven experience with DB2 is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of database architecture, indexing, and schema design.
- Exposure to scripting with Python for automation and data manipulation is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
